Stephanie | Virtual assistant at your service

Alright so jokes aside, I just think programming is one of the fields which is more about creativity than anything, though I strongly believe that an individual must be formal, disciplined and utmost professional when needed, while your inner weirdness shouldn't be compromised but accepted, it's not wrong to have fun in certain situations. Work is the most important part of any individual's life, what's the point if you don't have fun in what you always dreamt of as a kid, So yeah, Again I'll probably be updating the software ever so often, to make sure it stays up-to-date with current technology, You can come say me "Hi" in any of the social media links, but just don't be formal, imagine I am one of your co-mate, college-mate, room-mate, mate, whereas for any formal enquiries kindly contact me at "ugupta41@gmail.com". Arguably the worst "About Me" section ever, but oh well, atleast you can feel a little bit home. Cheers, SlapBot.

3 reasons Google Play Services might be draining your battery - TechRepublic

If you are experiencing battery drain issues on your Android phone, and every bit of troubleshooting you've done has led you nowhere, the culprit could wind up being Google Play Services. Why? Because this particular service is responsible for much more than just updating applications. In fact, Google Play Services is crucial to your Android device's syncing, updating for both apps and accounts. Because of this, it spends a great deal of time churning away in the background. So when it goes sideways, it can quickly drain your battery.

E3 2017: EA Reveals A Way Out, New Co-Op Action Game From Brothers Dev

Fares himself added: "The idea for A Way Out came when me and a friend tried to find a story driven co-op game that wasn't a drop-in/drop-out experience. We simply could not find a game like that. We're also bringing an innovative look into how to tell the story of both these characters. Players will be immersed in the game with the way we change the display from a full screen experience seamlessly to different cinematic split-screen formats. By focusing on the two characters in different ways, it opens up a huge variety of gameplay, as we really wanted to avoid repetitions so they will get to know the characters through very different situations."

The Best Printers of 2017

In addition to a USB port, most office printers and an increasing number of home printers include Ethernet ports, so you can share the printer easily on a network. Many also include Wi-Fi capability. Even if they don't, if you have a wireless access point on your network, you can print wirelessly to any printer on that network, whether the printer itself offers a wireless connection or not. Printers that support Wi-Fi Direct (or its equivalent) can connect directly to most Wi-Fi–enabled devices, even if your computer or handheld isn't designed to support Wi-Fi Direct. We're also seeing printers that can connect to and print from a mobile device via near-field communication (NFC) by merely tapping the phone or tablet to a particular spot on the printer.

Have a great set of headphones? Don’t buy an iPhone 8

Sure the iPhone 7 and presumably the 8 will come with a Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter for use with wired headphones, but it's far from an ideal solution for a bunch of reasons. Starting with the adapter doesn't sound as good as the 3.5mm jack on older iPhones, and who wants that little adapter and its wire hanging off their phone? I'm sure people lose the adapters all the time. I've also heard that they break. User reviews of the adapter on the Apple Web site are mostly negative; there are lots of one-star reviews . Apple really dropped the ball on this one.

Our favorite horror movies of all time

" Blood Freak " (Variety Films) is my favorite, not because of how good it is or how scary it is, but because it fails SO spectacularly at being a horror movie. Every time I watch it, I notice something new that is just terrible. I'm really more interested in how and why this movie got made; watching it prompts those questions once every minute or two. To be fair, it's the only horror movie I've seen in which the titular monster sports a giant papier-mâché turkey head. Oh, and it has a narrator who looks like a mixture of Mike Brady, Vincent Price and cheap booze and cigarettes. And -- well, go watch it yourself and thank/hate me later.

iOS 11 Supports 'Core NFC' to Detect NFC Tags and Read NDEF Data

Using Core NFC, you can read Near Field Communication (NFC) tags of types 1 through 5 that contain data in the NFC Data Exchange Format (NDEF). To read a tag, your app creates an NFC NDEF reader session and provides a delegate. A running reader session polls for NFC tags and calls the delegate when it finds tags that contain NDEF messages, passing the messages to the delegate. The delegate can read the messages and handle conditions that can cause a session to become invalid.”

Chevy Bolt EV goes on sale nationally a month early

For a car that has only been available in less than half of the United States, the Bolt EV has been selling pretty well, at least compared with Chevy's other plug-in – the Volt hybrid. From January 2017 to May 2017, the Bolt EV has sold 5,950 units . The Volt, which is available everywhere, has sold 9,187 units in the same time frame. Expanding the Bolt EV's availability will likely improve the car's sales substantially. Related Video:

How Your Mouse Movement Could Be Used to Stop Identity Theft

The sample here is too small and the testing procedures are too limited to indicate that this is a viable technique for detecting identity fraud. Plenty more research will have to be done and lots of algorithmic refinement will be necessary to make this in any way trustworthy. But it’s an interesting result for a new method and imagine what companies that have access to huge amounts of data could do. How distinct is a users mouse movement? How distinct is it when you know how they respond to various stimulation for hours at a time over the course of years? It seems possible that with machine learning we could one day be analyzing mouse movements as a virtual fingerprint across the web.

The Coolest Features in iOS 11

Apple Maps has improved since its disastrous debut , though it's not quite as robust as Google Maps. That could change in iOS 11, which adds features like lane assist, speed limit, and a "do not disturb" while driving mode. With "do not disturb" enabled, you won't get any notifications or messages while the car is in motion. If anyone texts you, they'll get an auto-reply that says you're driving and will get back to them at your destination. If it's an emergency, though, there is the option to break the "do not distrurb." And if you're a passenger, you can select "I'm not driving" so you can still peruse Instagram on your commute. Apple also promised detailed maps of hundreds of airports and shopping centers, for when you really need to track down that Shake Shack before your flight.

You’ll never guess where Russian spies are hiding their control servers

The innovation—by a so-called advanced persistent threat group known as Turla—makes the malware harder to detect because attacker-controlled servers are never directly referenced in either the malware or in the comment it accesses.
